Board of Directors

Born in Jerusalem 1947, father of three, a graduate of Jerusalem’s Hebrew University. An attorney since 1972.

Currently serves as a member of the Securities Authority Plenum and chairman of the Board at the Dead Sea Preservation Government Company

Previously served as chairman of the Leather section at the Manufacturers Association and as a director in Israel Chemicals Ltd. also serves as a director and chairman of the Mifal HaPais Audit Committee. Engages in real estate law, commercial law, administrative law, water and sewage corporations, Kibbutzim, companies, taxation, hotels, public companies, and commercial arbitration.

 

 

Rivka Lapiner joined the Dead Sea Preservation Government Company’s board of directors in 2010.

She serves as a senior deputy to the commissioner of economics and state revenue at the Ministry of Finance. Prior to her work at the state revenue administration she had filled various positions at the Tax Authority, the department of planning and policy, and in field units.

Rivka Lapiner is an accountant and holds a BA in accounting and economics and an MBA with a specialization in data systems and financing from Jerusalem’s Hebrew University.

Engineer Ada Harel joined the Dead Sea Preservation Government Company’s board of directors in March 2010.

Over the past few years Ms. Harel has served as the Ministry of Tourism’s architect, handling various architectural issues and aspects in the establishment of hotels including: the physical standards for planning and classification of tourist lodging facilities, green building, guidance of entrepreneurs and planners regarding physical planning of hotel lodging facilities and so on.

In the process of preparing the new Israeli standard 5281 for green building, between November 2010 and July 2011 Ms. Harel served as the chairman of the sustainable construction – tourism buildings experts committee.

Her professional experience prior to her current position at the Ministry of Tourism includes work in the private sector between 1992 – 2000, during which she handled a variety of architectural projects from the level of master plan to the stage of detailed work plans.

Ms. Ada Harel completed a B.Sc. in architecture at the Technion’s department of Architecture and City Building and an M.Sc. in city and regional planning.

Married and the father of four boys.

Colonel in Reserve Forces, served at the Intelligence Branch until his retirement from the IDF.

Served as CEO of the Yitzhak Rabin Center and currently serves as CEO of the Association for the Establishment of the Center and a director at the Dead Sea Preservation Government Company.

Served on a number of boards of directors including – the Netivei Israel Company, MAMAN, the Foreign Trade Insurance Company, and others.

Graduate of the IDF Staff and Command College and holds a BA from Bar Ilan University.
